London-based artist Giulia Ricci has dedicated the past year to creating "The AD Suite," a collection of gouache works on black paper. This online showcase presents the suite in its entirety for the first time, featuring 12 unique pieces. Ricci explores the use of elongated triangles within a preconceived grid, complemented by the bold contrast of highly pigmented gouache against black paper. The artist's experimentation extends to various techniques, including hand-made and digital drawing, laser engraving, installation, and video. "The AD Suite" exemplifies the serial quality of Ricci's artistic practice, displaying her continued exploration of finely detailed geometrical compositions.
