In 2022, Beat Zoderer spent several months working in London at the Landis & Gyr Studios in East London. Resttektur, composed of short pieces of masking tape previously used during the painting process of works from the "Tektur-Series", re-imagines a throwaway product from the artist's process as a material in its own right. Heavily varnished with UV-Varnish, the work's playfully assembled elements follow a strict vertical and horizontal grid, reminiscent of Piet Mondrian's iconic Broadway Boogie Woogie painting.
