Conceived for an exhibition at the Mies van der Rohe Haus in Berlin, this small wall relief is part of a larger group of wood sculptures the artist makes to this day. The deeply pigmented surface of the work is captured in wax, lending the work a depth of colour and surface that underpins the balanced composition.
